It started in 1987 at Rajkot, when Shri Shivlalbhai Avcharbhai Adroja, then a migrant businessman from the nearby town of Morbi, having moved to Rajkot looking at business possibilities, started a Motor Manufacturing Unit at Atika, Rajkot. He christened the brand as ‘Angel’, and the enterprise as ‘Angel Motors’.

• Founded in 1987 by Shivlalbhai Adroja in Rajkot, starting with motors for the diamond and textile industries.
• Expanded into pumps, including centrifugal, regenerative, and submersible pumps.
• Family involvement: Shivlalbhai’s sons played a key role in growth.
• Built largest pump plant in Saurashtra (100,000 sq. ft.) between 2009-2010.
• Transformed into Angel Pumps Pvt. Ltd. in 2010, with improved marketing and operations.
